Meh, I’d rather the honesty than saying that he put a (what I assume) chinese turbo in it and “babied” it. At least now I’d be more likely to believe him if he said that it’s problem free.

Nah. The trades he’s considering makes me think that he’s just never taken it to the track and is annoyed that even with the turbo he’s putting out less power than a Camry.

That’s fine. The engine can take it. I have some friends with a very similar setup that they thrash to hell that they’ve owned, autocrossed, and tracked for years without a hitch.
